Welcome to the Media Center the HEART of our school!
Ms. Baldwin, the media specialist, has been in education for 25 years. She taught 3rd grade for 10 of those years and EIP for 2 years. She has enjoyed the rest of her years as a media specialist. She enjoys reading and being active. If she isn't at school she is at home enjoying a good book or doing something like running, mountain biking or Crossfit.

Classes may visit the media center weekly for book checkout and returns as well as for media center lessons on information literacy skills.
Media Center Procedures:
Books may be checked out for two weeks at a time.
Checkout limits are as follow:
Pre-K through kindergarten students may check out 1 book at a time.
1st grade through 5th grade students may check out 2 books at a time.
If a student damages a book from the media center that they checked out, they will be responsible for paying a fine for the damage. Book damage may include ink or crayon marks, torn pages, water damage, missing spine labels, missing barcodes, etc.
If a student checks out a book and loses it, they will be responsible for the cost of the book.
It is each student’s responsibility to take proper care of each book he or she checks out and to return it to the media center in a timely manner.
