Beaverbrook Principal

Jonathan McGavin was appointed principal of Beaverbrook Elementary in April of 2022. He previously served as the assistant principal of Jordan Hill Elementary from 2018-2022. McGavin previously taught at Beaverbrook Elementary, Futral Road Elementary and Orrs Elementary where he was named the 2015-2016 GSCS District-Wide Teacher of the Year. He holds an Ed.S. in Leadership and Administration from Valdosta State University, an M.Ed. in Mathematics Education from the University of Georgia and a B.S. in Early Childhood Education from Georgia Southern University.
