GSCS Family and Community Engagement Specialist Dr. LaJuana Love stated, “Family engagement plays an essential role in student success. When schools and families work together, we create stronger learning opportunities and help students reach their full potential. Families are encouraged to take an active role in their children’s education by communicating with teachers, establishing learning routines at home, participating in school activities, and taking advantage of district family engagement opportunities.
National Parent Engagement Month serves as an important reminder that meaningful family involvement is not limited to a single event or month. It is an ongoing partnership that helps create positive educational experiences and brighter futures for students.
